KY6ET – Amateur Radio Emergency Team
KY6ET is an amateur radio emergency communications group made up of licensed volunteer operators serving Northern Kentucky. We provide reliable radio communications support during emergencies, disasters, and community events when normal systems are unavailable or overloaded.
Mission & Purpose
Our mission is to train, organize, and deploy amateur radio operators in support of public safety agencies, emergency management, and community needs. Through regular training and exercises, we maintain readiness to serve when communications matter most.

- Emergency communications during severe weather and disasters
- Training exercises and preparedness drills
- Public service event communications
- Mentoring and support for amateur radio licensing
